John Carter Sequel — Proof Positive That Disney’s Glorious “Flop” Continues to Gain New, Passionate Fans

(This is the all-time number one post on John Carter Files. I’ve decided to move it to the front page for a few days.   It was originally posted in October 2013 and has received 117,389 views as of today, August 22, 2015.  Most of those who view this find it when they google “John Carter Sequel” — which is why it is set up the way it is.  Unfortunately, those of us who come to John Carter from the Edgar Rice Burroughs end of things have pretty much already moved on to “reboot” . . . . but even today, every time John Carter plays on TNT there are a flurry of google searches for “John Carter sequel” that lead people  here.  Note the 257 comments … also the most on any one post here. )
